Nixey Danielson

A professional freestyle motocross rider, this is Danielson’s first tour with Nuclear Cowboyz. He has made X Games appearances and has finished twice in the top ten in Best Trick. Danielson’s signature move is the backflip heel clicker to Indian air.  

Age you began riding: 13 years old  

How did you begin riding freestyle motocross?  I just started riding with my friends. 

What is your greatest achievement(s) since your career began: I just always want to be able to ride for a living. 

What is the hardest part of being a freestyle motocross rider? The hardest part is getting hurt … and beating chicks off with a stick. 

Do you have any superstitions or pre-performance rituals? I pray before I ride. 

If you could be a professional athlete in any other sport, what would it be and why? I would be a BMX rider – that is a lot of fun. 

What is the greatest place you have visited and why? The greatest place is home (Arizona), because it just is.
