Colten Moore
Hometown: Krum, Texas
Birthdate: August 17, 1989
Age began riding: 12
How did you
begin riding? My dad bought us quads so we would have something to do as a family. My
brother, Caleb and I heard about a local amateur freestyle competition and we
begged our parents to let us compete. We actually did pretty good so we stuck
with it from there.
What is your
greatest accomplishment so far? Learning the
quad backflip and placing 5th at Winter X Games
What do you
think is the hardest part about riding? Dealing with the pressure to succeed and be the best and the injuries
that come with competing.
Do you prefer freestyle motocross competitions or
performance-based shows? I like both
because in competition I can test and push myself against the other riders and
in shows I feed off of the crowds’ energy.
Do you have any
superstitions or pre-performance rituals? Every time before I ride I pray to God.
