Five Questions With Wes Agee

Wes Agee Q&A

What have you been up to this summer/fall?

I've been super busy riding; I got invited to X Fighters at Glen Helen MX in California and took home third place. I also earned third place at the Dew Tour San Francisco stop and second in France for Finist’ air show.  I recently signed on with Red Bull, so we've been working on a game plan for 2013 and 2014 - big things happening.  For now, I'm focused on contests and looking forward to 2013 Nuclear Cowboyz tour.

How excited are you for the Nuclear Cowboyz tour to kick off?

I can't wait to get the 2013 Nuclear Cowboyz tour started; it’s going to be exciting for me. I was asked to be the leader of the Metal Mulisha tribe during the show, so I'm looking forward to having some spotlight time to showcase my tricks and battle with Adam Jones.  Also, I can't wait to just see all my old friends; there are a lot of good people working this tour, which makes it enjoyable.

What cities are you looking forward to visiting during the Nuclear Cowboyz tour?

My favorite would be the Ontario stop in SoCal of course because I get to see my family and friends. There are still a lot of nice cities that we hit on the tour, so it's hard to single one out. I do also enjoy New York and Pittsburgh. And since East Rutherford isn’t too far from New York, I may have to pay a visit to the The Big Apple.

Any trips planned before the Nuclear Cowboyz tour kicks off?

Not really anything too big, just enjoying my time off at home. I'm always riding at Ocotillo Wells in southern California on the weekends, so you might find me there.  I’m also getting ready to move into a new place on 25 acres, so I'm going to be busy remodeling and building jumps right before I leave for the Nuclear Cowboyz tour.

When you take time off from riding, what do you like to do in your free time?

I have plenty of hobbies to keep me busy. I've got a jet boat, off-road truck and a ‘59 Thunderbird, so I’m usually either working on all my toys or out playing.  But like I said, I just got a new place so I'm going be busy working on that and building jumps.
